We want to make it as easy as possible for people to reduce or eliminate their landfill rubbish. It is outrageous that it is so difficult to avoid packaging and items that are destined for the landfill after such a comparitively short useful lifespan. The situation becomes even more absurd when you consider all the fossil fuels and energy used to create these items in the first place which then end up in our ever expanding landfills contributing towards creating the very potent greenhouse gas methane.
But fear not - help is at hand, because now we've got the Rubbish Free Guide! This guide emerges from all of the great suggestions and ideas we have received since starting our Rubbish Free Year in 2008. It will never be complete as we continually add to it.
