Avoid tetra-paks if possible and go for 1 or 2ltr plastic containers. Most of these come in recyclable packaging.
The only trick to watch out for is that many brands have a foil seal under the cap. This is a composite material and not recyclable so to avoid it go for brands where you can see an external ring under the cap that breaks when you open for the first time.
If you do go for tetra-paks, Trees for Canterbury are often keen to have them as seedling pots, alternatively you many like to use them for the same purpose!
